We provide tents, tarps and sleeping bags to those who are camping for survival
and work with the homeless community to provide other mutual aid and support

Folks needing to come for laundry please message us and we will arrange a time that you can drop it off.
We will wash it and you can come get it.

If you don't have the ability to call for an appointment 
you can stop by Monday, Wednesday or Friday 12p- 4p

Boxes of groceries are available for pick up or delivery each Thursday.

What is a House of Hospitality?

At MISSION’s Houses of Hospitality (HoH), we follow the heart of the Dorothy Day Catholic Worker Movement: creating a compassionate and inclusive community where everyone’s basic needs are met with care and dignity.
Our work is deeply rooted in collaboration. By bringing together volunteers, community members, and individuals facing housing insecurity or homelessness, we strive to break down the barriers caused by hardship and displacement. Here, we believe that building relationships and fostering solidarity is just as vital as meeting physical needs.
At HoH, we're not a shelter—we’re a community. Together, we address the gaps in housing and resources through practical and heartfelt support. This includes offering shelters in the form of tents, nourishing meals, access to showers and clean clothing, companionship, and even essentials like bus tokens. Whatever the need, we work to ensure no one feels forgotten.
Our home base is in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and we proudly serve Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and surrounding areas. At MISSION, we believe in the power of people coming together to create a stronger, more supportive community where no one faces challenges alone.
